Now here is a thread about a news story that I care about:
Nestle USA's baking unit has recalled Nestle Toll Houserefrigerated cookie dough products after the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention launched an investigation into reported E. coli illnesses related to eating raw refrigerated cookie dough.
Nestle said Friday it has and will continue to cooperate with the FDA and CDC in the investigation.
The products involved in the recall include all varieties of Nestle Toll House refrigerated Cookie Bar Dough, Cookie Dough Tub’ Cookie Dough Tube’ Limited Edition Cookie Dough items’ Seasonal Cookie Dough and Ultimates Cookie Bar Dough. ...more (http://www.bizjournals.com/atlanta/stories/2009/06/15/daily94.html)

Even with the E. coli, it's still too yummy to resist eating it raw.
