I am starting to miss the days of hitting 6 creatures at once. I agree Mstrike was overpowered before, but with it's limits set, I was wondering who trained in it and how much.

Before GP3, I 1x'd MOC as my Ranger. Then when GP3 hit, I dropped back to 5 ranks so I could do the basic mstrike. In GS4, I guess I forgot to put some in it, and for the TP's maybe it's worth it.

So what do you people think of MOC and is it worth it?

You have to have pretty good tactical know-how to use it properly (not get killed). Tactics are hard to script. Thus, I don't use it. In the right hands, it can be devestating.

With the help of a Wizard, Stun can make his DS around 340 in offensive. With crit padded Hauberk on, I have considered it being something I do. With his redux he can handle most hits and shrug them off.

I was 1xing before the changes.

5 ranks after the changes just so I can hit two creatures in case I need to.

The changes sucked.

My Bard is 7 trains and can mstrike with a Glaive and kicks major ass. My problem is that with EBP, does it make it worth it to just add more RT for missing?

I trained in it up to three strikes with one swing at one or multiple critters. That is as far as I'm going though for now. To many more ranks required to get another swing in, and the RT would make it useless.

Damn, mine's like 120 with masses.

Stun's about to be 42 trains. Full Ranger spells to WoT.

An 8x shield and 4x crit padded Hauberk help, too.

5 ranks and stopped. Too expensive.

how many ranks do you need to hit the same thing twice?

While I'm at it.... how many ranks in armor do you need to get the manuver penelty down in full plate?

Under the new system is it?

5 to mstrike
20 for mstrike 3 creatures at once
25 to hit one twice?

It's been a long time, someone cue me in.

<<25 to hit one twice?>>

Before the change it was 40, no clue on after.

Unfocused MSTRIKE is first gained at 5 ranks of Multi-Opponent Combat skill, allowing the character to attack two different creatures at once. A third swing is gained at 15 ranks of MOC, a fourth swing at 35 ranks, and additional swings gained for every 25 ranks thereafter.

Focused MSTRIKE is first gained at 30 ranks of MOC, allowing the
character to swing twice at a single opponent. Extra swings are gained for every 25 ranks of MOC beyond 30.
