Soo... I bought a brand spanking new computer from alienware.

I'm having an issue with it though when I WoW (My IE works fine just WoW). I am constantly Disconnecting.. Now I am not a retard and I know about the firewall and all that funky jazz.. WoW is all on the exceptions list of the firewall (Windows and AVG)..

Now, I did attempt to forward the ports and what not.. It might not be right but it's fine..

So, My Desktop is sitting on the desk and my brothers Laptop is sitting right next to it and he's doing fine while I am lagging out.. I bought a linksys wireless card (I have a linksys router) and put it in the computer.. It still didn't work so I went back and tried a D-Link one.. Still no better. Here are the specs.

Any help would be fucking amazing. I'm really concidering taking the comp back after it took 2 weeks to get here.

Let me guess, wireless for your computer? If so you are suffering from...

Vista's Security Reauthorization on your wireless connection. A Window's Update offered this "feature" that checks your connection, which drops you for a split second. For games, it will drop you from them, but the majority of people on the internet won't see the hiccup. Took me months to get rid of it. I just connect wired now though, avoid the hassle from the get-go.

Not that much, around $1300.. It was either a Mediocre Laptop or an awesome desktop.. Plus I rarely move my Laptop so I thought it was for the best.

Good god that would do it.. I really can't connect directly, would you happen to know the name of the update?

Although.... I'm on my laptop which has vista and it's up to date and I don't have a problem with this computer.

It doesn't happen to all computers, some updated ones didn't get the actual update, because they removed it. It's worse than Malware. I'll see if I can find the guide that helped me.

That would be awesome because I'm getting fed up heh.. I'd hate to think it was my computer because I really don't want to go through the wait of getting another one.

If anyone else has any ideas keep em coming.

Quick question, is it 64 bit windows or 32 bit? The solutions are different apparently.
