Anyone have the math for experience absorption on a supernode, and specifically how your logic stat or bonus affects the base rate (I got the part about LOG bonus / 5 adding to the base rate)?
I'm trying to figure out whether it would be worthwhile to buy a lot of logic enhancives that I could use only for the purpose of holding/wearing while I unfry to speed up my EXP gain. If anyone has some perspective on this that would be nice too.
I think there is a cap at 40 per pulse (pre-XXX) which may impact things. But I'm thinking if I can improve my exp absorption while resting by say 20-25%, that's worth spending a few mil on and the BP to keep them charged.

It's worth it. There is a reason people snatch up logic enhancives. =)
On a node, every multiple of 5 gives you 1 XP per pulse.
Off a node, every multiple of 7 gives you 1 XP per pulse.
My empath:
Logic (LOG): 90 (25) ... 130 (45)
That's 9 extra XP per pulse on a node, and 6 extra XP per pulse off a node.

Actually, it is done by logic BONUS. So you're only getting an extra 4 on a node and 2 off a node.

For most players this will result in a small improvement while on a node and no significant change when in a hunting area.

That's if you're talking about the difference between your base stat and enhanced stat with your example it would be a difference of 4 and 2.

Okay I think that's what I'm looking for, and I should probably have figured this out myself, thanks. So the max I can do with enhancives is 4 extra EXP per pulse. The question is will my base rate ever be higher than 36 when saturated, such that I'm not getting the full +4 benefit from the enhancives due to the 40 cap. For now I'll assume no, although I'll check this next time I'm saturated. My logic is close to 100 but not quite there and I'm a human with a natural +5 to bonus.
So that's 4 extra EXP per minute regardless of the state of my mind (which only influences base rate). Let's say conservatively I'm resting 50% of the time, although I think it's more. So if during my 3x XXX that's 4 * 3 EXP * 90 minutes of resting = 1,080 extra EXP. Plus another 720 for my 2x XXX is 1,800 extra EXP just on XXX. I average maybe 20 hrs a week total so that's another 14 hrs or 1,680 extra EXP a week. So a total of call it 3.5K extra EXP per week which for me would be like a 7-10% increase.
Eh, I guess that's decent but I was hoping it would yield a little better return. Maybe my 50% resting assumption is low. How much would +40 of logic enhancives cost to buy, assuming I don't care what slot they occupy?

I would say that before LOG enhancives, depending on someone's logic bonus, most people are going to absorb any where from between 27 and 33 or 34 experience a minute when fried on a node. And the most you can add to that with using maxxed logic enhancives on a node, is another 4 experience a minute. The absolute max anyone can absorb a minute, whether on node or off node is 40 (41 if grouped). Then the Gift of Lumnis and RPA's modify this. Gift of Lumnis and an RPA stacks, but only so high.
