So I'm spending the weekend with my folks, who live in the country in a closed private condo community. Most of the people that live here are senior citizens or wealthy doctors. My mother is the head of the board.

There's a punk high school kid who lives in the cul-de-sac next to my parents who's been causing trouble in the community. Graffiti, loud parties with underage drinking, vandalism, skateboarding, etc. All against the rules of the community here, and they've been warned before. About a month ago the kid was arrested near the high school for breaking into two cars and stealing two GPS units. So, the kid's a punk, and needs a good ass beating. His mother's a blob who never leaves the house.

So, I park my car in guest parking, like I always do. This kid knows this car belongs to me, because he saw me and my mother get out from it a few months ago when coming back from shopping (he was skateboarding, and my mother had asked him to stop). This morning I find my right rear tire has been slashed.

I know that it was this kid who did this, and no other cars in guest parking were vandalized. He's the only one in the area who would have done it, and it's so far away from any major areas that it's highly unlikely someone would have come from far away to slash one tire on one car.

But I obviously have no proof.

Anyone have any ideas? I'm already trying to get access to his Facebook profile, but I really want to nail this kid for the trouble he's putting me through.

My mother filed a police report, just so it would be on record. The cop said it was most likely the kid... he was already familiar with him. But he said since there was no proof, he couldn't do anything but ask the patrol to swing by a few extra times a night.

And I got access to his Facebook, but there's nothing there that would incriminate him.

--Slash all of his. Then place an incendiary device on his gas tank. Knock on the door, ask to borrow flour. Blow up his car. Laugh.

--Grab him by the throat. Tell him, "I have a very particular set of skills. skills that make me a nightmare for people like you."

--Find out what he loves. Fuck it up.

--Deprive him of all liberty and property. Get him sent to a foster home with foster parents of Jefferey Dahmer and Susan Smith.

--Kill him. It's not like anyone would notice nor care.

--Bust a move.

--Rape him. Repeatedly. With objects that are oddly shaped.

--Accuse him of trafficking child pornography. Provide evidence. (That you placed).

--If you can find his email address, he needs a subscription to gay porn. Lots and lots of gay porn. Craigslist m4m would be perfect. "Hi. I want pictures of dicks. Lots and lots of dicks. Send them to XXXX@xxx.com. kthxbai!"

--The fun thing about underage drinking parties is that there's no recourse if something goes wrong.

--Find creative uses for dog shit. Door handles of cars work REALLY well.

Or just call the police and let them deal with it.

Outside all the stellar things already posted, there isn't much you can do. You can't take him to court, you can't press charges. Does he cause trouble with your parents? Building a case could help for future problems. Just remember, he most likely has wealthy parents who will pay for a good defense if you ever did get to press charges and sue.

Keep an eye out. If he becomes a real trouble, you can hire a private investigator. But for your tire it would be a waste of time and money. Good luck though.

Not that I approve of telling lies to the law, but you could always say you SAW him do it. You just need another person to lie with you. But, you better KNOW it was the kid if you're going to go that route.

Really all you can do is try and catch him doing something. If it were me I'd wait til he was 18, don't waste the effort until it's going to really fuck up his future. Patience wins wars like this. Once you've got evidence of him doing something new turn him in, go to court, when you get a chance say man it's a bitch that you're an adult now and this sticks with you for a long time....remember when you slashed my tires? I was going to suggest this, and maybe take it a step further. It's quite possible the condo association has cameras already set up. Cameras are everywhere. Depends just how well that parking lot was hidden.

Not sure what his mother does for a living, but she's literally a blob. 400+ lbs, never leaves the house, but she must get money somehow, as these are not cheap condos. She doesn't discipline her son at all, and whenever the condo association fines her, she gives the "you can fine me all you want, I ain't paying" spiel. And since she owns her condo, she can't be evicted.

150 isn't too bad. This kid (upon who's face I broke my hand) slashed some dude's tires on his explorer. Cost the kid 500 bucks for 2 tires.

I still think your mom should get a security camera and put it somewhere discrete; not letting anyone see that you're putting it up, and then park your car directly in the recording range. I say this because anyone stupid enough to do that is stupid enough to do it again.

Depending on the kid's psyche, posting a bunch of very visible reward posters for information leading up to what happened might hopefully scare him ... or embolden him.
