i used to LOVE doing those moot hall auctions. I would have 20-30 people in there bidding. fun times.

I am interested in a private response to price on the elemental bow, plate armor, chain hauberk, and returning hammer.

130 horn, not that i know of besides standard teleportation mechanics. Need to be held to BLOW it to work. Used it once...sheesh...

Bow is a longbow.

Bracers are new style, for the most part, all the old style self mana items were non descript weapons.

Sending you a PM next Orbstar...and of course bro. :)

Actually Durfin, the one I got from Velvette, I will never , ever, ever part with. :) Sorry you're upset with me over something, and not the first time I've heard that.

<shrug>

The second I won on the second run on a raffle, and doesn't have any meaning to me.

Various things I own I'll never sell.

Heck, Avantos still wears 'a,ruby, earring' that Carren (theroselady) bought for me in 1996 when Teras opened, has sentimental value. I got some items from others that I been involved with that I can't bear to sell, ever, so I don't get the anger.

True HSB, very true.

Avarice | Avantos' Weaponry | Avantos' Combat Gear Solhaven Room: 11
simple shop
an elegant haon-hilted golvern dagger - 150,000,000 silvers
You notice Lucos's crafting mark
It imparts a bonus of +25 more than usual. Imparts knowledge of spell 606. The dagger looks to have a huge number of charges remaining.
After a careful inspection you determine that an elegant haon-hilted golvern dagger requires skill in edged weapons to use effectively. It looks like this item has been mainly crafted out of golvern.

I know, but I followed my own advice on flares and got it switched. Acid has no immunities, no enviromental impact, and good damage.

Lightning is great, but in water rooms, it can be lethal.

I owned the vultite version for many years and when used in melee, it acts as any other warhammer. I used it with Limper and he used mstrike with it all the time. He was a paladin, so no zerk, but I can't see why it wouldn't work. It is a hammer.

Here is an example of a returning hammer in action.

With a quick flick of your wrist, you deftly send a huge vultite throwing hammer into flight.
You throw a huge vultite throwing hammer at a war griffin!
AS: +412 vs DS: +175 with AvD: +26 + d100 roll: +82 = +345
... and hit for 131 points of damage!
Massive blow smashes through ribs and drives the war griffin's heart out the back.
The war griffin crashes to the ground, motionless.

Your throwing hammer spins rapidly through the air, the head whooshing audibly with each revolution. As it completes its arc, it reverses direction and lands solidly in your right hand, ready to throw again.
Roundtime: 3 sec.

The thing about returners is that, mechanically, they never actually leave your hand. This is better than bonding because you won't lose it to a death or game crash while it's on the ground. However, returners can be disarmed and will not jump back into your hand like a bonded weapon. At least that's my understanding of them, never having owned one.

I will try to find it on my logs, but with warrior bonding it goes from the ground back to my hand when disarmed.
