Which part of the staff determines the AS factor. If I have a vultite quarterstaff with imflass end caps, do the caps or the staff its self add to my AS? In other words will I get the +12 of the imflass or +20 from vultite?

So, I basically can use, whatever for the staff, but I want to use the better material for the caps?
