Got a GM referral for an annoying problem today and saw this....
Your referral to speak with a GM is still pending, you are number 13 in the Premium User queue.
Thirteen!! Holy crap! I've never been more than 2. Yikes

It includes everyone in line, including offline players. You could reasonably be 13 in the queue and be the next person to get help. They also kind of go against the idea of a queue and prioritize the referrals before answering.

Not every GM can answer your specific question. You might end up waiting days for the right one to log in for duty.

Is that new? Used to be when you left, you lost your place in the queue and got put at the end when you came back in.

I think that is true for assists, but never for referrals for as long as I can remember.

Heh, maybe I've just had more GM referrals than you. Although I find that hard to believe.
But yes, you get requeued when you leave the game. Darn it, back to 14 for me!

:yeahthat:
I've waited for a month or so on occasion. Not fun times.

I hate being wrong. :( I could have sworn the referral queue wasn't reset, because I have definitely been answered within minutes of having at least 5 people in front of me.
I haven't had a referral in a number of years, though. <3 quitting.

From what I understand your place in the referral queue has little to do with your chance of getting help with your issue sooner.
It's just like giving you a number instead of a queue place.
Meaning you could be the 14th person to be addressed.
Load of shit.
Also don't forget they might be researching. You gave all of your info to the GH and the GM might be having to go through logs or talk to Dev about a weapon problem etc. They might be waiting for another GM to log in so they can address your issue. It can be a long procedure.

sometimes if you know who you're supposed to deal with, you can just email them and work on it that way/make an appointment.

I find it's best to break something really good. That tends to get you bumped up to the front of the line.
