I've been reading these boards for a long time, but I haven't ever actually gotten around to posting here. Finally, here I am. With questions, no less.
For those who don't already know, my char is a Dhe'nar warrior who hunts with scrolls. And always has. He is currently 36, very close to 37.

Thanks to some nice people on the play.net forums, he uses Coup d'Grace effectively and is very happy with the AS boost.

I was wondering if there's something else out there I may have missed (outside of enhacives and the proper spells (513, 215, 211)) that would increase his spell AS. He's working on warcries.

Also, any comments or suggestions are welcome!

Don't know if they show up on scrolls but don't 606 and 1606 increase bolt as? Don't you want more Arcane Symbols ranks for durations?

I bet I have a ton of scrolls laying around you can have.

Don't know if they show up on scrolls but don't 606 and 1606 increase bolt as? Don't you want more Arcane Symbols ranks for durations?

I bet I have a ton of scrolls laying around you can have.

606 is on scrolls but doesn't help bolt AS. 1606 helps bolt but isn't on scrolls. Probably pretty expensive to train in scroll use just for the duration as a warrior. So it would be better to just burn through scrolls till he's older.

That's correct, Phoens doesn't help with my bolt AS. It does help with weight though, which is a bonus. And I forgot to add benediction. That's one of my regulars. :)

As far as duration goes, I"m trying to increase my perception right now. Even my shortest DS spell (303) lasts long enough to finish a hunt with, so far now that's good. The TP for AS isn't as bad as spell aiming, I plan on increasing it as I get older.

I was wondering if the legend of the scroll warrior was going on. that's a huge accomplishment getting close to 40 with an unorthodox training plan.

Not being a bolt caster class, you will miss out on 513 and 425 unfortuntately. 215, 211 should help. I am suprised you're not fully 2x in dodge, 2x in brawling considering you don't have to spend TPs on training armor use. You shouldn't need any more MIU or AS after 30 ranks. Might want to bump yourself up to 15 ranks in AU so you can use double leather without hinderance.

A little closer to 40 every day Gib. Been thinking about coming to Teras. So if I do, save me a seat by the statue.

I get an AS boost from 513, but I thought 425 was for CS spells only. As far as dodge and brawling goes, I am max trained in it for my level. I currently wear full leather, though if I move up to double someday I'll consider increasing my AU.

This self-casting spell provides a bonus to attacks:

As far as dodge and brawling goes, I am max trained in it for my level.

Edit: On my recent training I've realized I am only single trained in dodge. Should I press towards double training? or double my CM instead? I was working on increasing my perception, but I can put it on hold if the points are better used somewhere else. Suggestions?

Dodging will help a ton, especially with you being in lighter armor to invoke scrolls. Hook up with a rogue who can help you make you evade better in your armor every now and then and you will be a dodging machine. Spells like Mobility and Mass Blurs will help as well. Evasion Mastery as a CM would be ideal. If you have the points, you would want to bring yourself to 1x in Arcane Symbols. You can start to spell tank more reliably with higher durations on spells. Same goes for MIU. Raise based Imbeds with 1x MIU last quite a while. Later on, you will need all the help you can get.

and 1007 works for a few minutes I think if the bard can sing it right before you leave the group

A proud master of Sunfist. I could find no RP reason why he'd choose COL. Used to be in Voln, and when Sunfist came out, it suited him ideally. Mechanically? It'd be nice to have the staunching and the additional AS. Ah well.

Fallen: I used what little CM points I had to rank 5 in coup, and recently for mobility so I have at least some chance to stand up. I just don't have that many, which is why I've considered increasing his CM training.

With so little CM offensive maneuvers are obviously out. If it was a choice between Dodge and CM, I would definitely go Dodge. This may have been asked, but what is the FA for?

In Sunfist you can just eat any herb in 3 seconds. I would drop the ranks, and put them into MIU Arcane Symbols CM Dodge Perception..whatever.

I'm a proponent of 8 ranks of FA for anyone, but sunfisters in particular. Those'll net you a 2 second reduction, which is enough to eat the most commonly needed herbs in the minimum 3 seconds so you don't have to bother with sigil of mending for minor injuries.

*Note - This was from a train ago, my average AS now is 242 (250ish with the enhancives and 262 with heroism)
