Yeah, remove curse works on a blood and spiked. They can be amputated if they enter through a limb. But they mostly go right into the chest and eat your heart. Damn zombie scarabs.

If it's the same for spiked scarabs - neutralize curse if you're trying to avoid further injury to them, or remove curse if you don't care.

Bingo. or if you are tired and do not script-lock pick. heh. sometimes you just grab that damn thing...

Of course if I had a disarm/pick script I WOULD use it...

Black Scarabs are always fatal unless they're removed, they will burrow into your chest and out your heart, removal of the limb it's attacted to (by Sorcerer is better than by weapon) or having a Cleric Neutralize it is the best.

Red Scarabs will drop from you after absorbing X amount of blood, usually only achieveable by having an Empath (or two) consistantly restore blood loss. Again, having a Sorcerer blow the limb off or having a Cleric Neutralize are the best ways.

I've sword amputated more than a few limbs. It will get the scarab. Unfortunately it often kills them too.

I took off a limb from a guy who took a scarab and the idiot tracked down the constable and accused me of assault...

After that I just watch people die and laugh and point at them as they do so
