Hi all,
With the new FIXSKILLS release, I've been toying with the idea of changing my 301 and kick cleric over to a THW swinger. Thoughts? Suggestions?

I recently came across an Eonake mattock, and I'd like the versatility of being able to battle the living more effectively (currently SMITEing, but if someone could help me switch to Gosaena. My boredom with my current build may also stem from hunting the same place for the past five levels (Anwyn), so any suggestions for changing that up would be appreciated as well.

Thanks in advance!

You know, that really is an interesting thought. The older my character gets, there is less, (read it basically as nothing), Undead to brawl with. The idea of changing from brawl to a weapon does sound very appealing at this point. Especially when your spells are fire base and you hit the bowels.

What you might consider doing is some research. Check out the next few area's your going to move to hunt to, compare it with what society your character is in, and make a choice from there.

Anyone?

I personally wouldn't. You have tons of very easy creatures to run through. Maybe when you're higher in levels like Telsas, but now? Hell no. You should have a clear run into your 60's.

Don't do it unless you plan to get CM as well. 1x CM is a neccessity for using a weapon as a cleric.

hmmm...thanks Relentles, that's good to know. I'll have to give that a thought.

I am also going with a brawling route on my cleric, Fu'ing up till I can't Fu anymore, then just switch over to OHB or THW later on. I take it Fu is viable well into your 40s (varunar) and 50s (banshees)?

I'd wager that 68 is probably the limit.

You should, even as a cleric 1x'ing it, have little difficulty kicking wind wraiths on Teras.

They're about 62ish but the nice thing is, their gen rate is easily able to support a level 67/68 hunter. They gen 4 at a time I think and can gen pretty quick (though sometimes you can get a 1 minute lull).

Make sure to use 215/211/307 when you fu, because those do add to the MB (though not a dramatic amount).

Soul golems are doable but a bit too much trouble for my tastes even with a dedicated 2x brawling rogue.

Thanks for the feedback everyone; looks like I'll stick with Fu for the time being. Anyone have success with spell aiming instead? I've been trying to research the bolt DS of undead critters I'd be battling over the next 20 or so trainings, and per Tsoran's it looks like my bolt AS will be approx 60-80 over their DS. Much better than my CS vs TD (i think?).
