I have a friend with a lvl 46 dark elf sorc. He hasn't played since GS3 went to 4, I want to hear your opinions on stat placement and training plans. This will give me some info I can feed to him so he can become viable in GS4

Note lvl 46 is in GS4.

hmm..to be a viable hunting sorcerer?

1x runes
1x MIU
2x Harness Power
2x Spell aim
2x spells
1x elemental mana control
1x spirit mana control
1x perception (personal choice here)
1x Sorc Lore (get 50 in Demons, then 50 in necro, then which ever)

Thats pretty much it.

Stat wise..what ever can pull that off, and still be set up how you like it.

I agree with this basic plan except if you want to work with scrolls you will need to step up the runes

If you want to use a staff, I'd seguest 2xing in AS and MIU, just to raise the base #ranks/lvl

Adredrin is only 1x'ed in them, and works with scrolls just fine.

And his DS is 120 higher then the critters his level he hunts *shrug*

so are elemental lores kinda useless for sorcs?

I wouldn't say they are useless, it's just that the sorcerer lores in my opinion are points better spent.

Elemental lore training will increase your DC's effectiveness and let you attune to an element.

The sorcerer lores give you more bang for your buck so to speak.
