Lirion just opened a harness shop. They're back worn and cost 35k.

Lirion says, "For years, i have simply despised the way the common levies carried a long weapon."

Lirion says, "Such as stuffing it in a backpack."

Lirion says, "Or a sheath."

Lirion says, "Or Ko'ar forbid, an earring."

Lirion says, "I have rectified it with my new harnesses."

Lirion taps a mithril halberd.

Lirion says, "I have two types."

Lirion says, "One on the table, one in the bin."

Lirion slips the butt end of his halberd into the attached sock and wheel and straps the haft with a curious assortment of straps and buckles to the harness. The remaining shaft and blade of the halberd protrudes overhead.

You see Lirion Invelis.
He appears to be an Elf.
He appears to be very young. He has amber eyes and tanned skin. He has shoulder length, amber hair. He is inked with an image of a triple moon surrounded by dark crimson stars upon his neck.
He is in good shape.
He is wearing a blued woven chainmail harness with a mithril halberd poking overhead with the butt dragging behind attached to a leather sock and wheel

Lirion reaches behind him and pulls his halberd up until he can remove the attached sock & wheel from it and then pulls it free from his harness. He then quickly stows the sock into the harness.

Lirion says, "The other looks like this."
Lirion carefully slips his halberd inside the harness. Since it is not large enough to hold the halberd, the remaining part protrudes far over Lirion's shoulder.

You see Lirion Invelis.
He appears to be an Elf.
He appears to be very young. He has amber eyes and tanned skin. He has shoulder length, amber hair. He is inked with an image of a triple moon surrounded by dark crimson stars upon his neck.
He is in good shape.
He is wearing a blued woven chainmail harness with a mithril halberd poking high overhead

Lirion says, "The ones on the table have the sock and wheel."

Lirion says, "The ones in the bin are standard."

Lirion says, "When I return next to work on them."

Lirion says, "I can add a intricate description, change the look of the base, and add more actions."

Lirion says, "Next weekend I assume."

If only a backpack wasn't so much more useful than a backworn harness...

A cloak can pretty easily replace a backpack.

You are wearing an oilcloth backpack, a tattered warrior's mantle skillfully stitched with a rendition of Lord V'Tull.

Of course, I got rid of most of my stuff, so it'd all fit in one, but would still cause maj0r scrollz. Before they were both holding at least 80 pounds each.

The only time i've ever needed more than one big container is when I was treasure hunting with Artha. Encumberance would pretty much kill that now. I don't see the use for more than one big container.

When I didn't hunt, I was carrying 300+ pounds of items, with two locker characters also full of items. 50 items in my locker, 40 with my other characters.

I was what you'd call retarded.

Edit: * Aedone just bit the dust! wtf? You should totally kill her.

Nah, I'd only kill her if her name was Atwo or something.

You are wearing a gold ring, a deep black deathstone stud in his right eyebrow, a ratty sack, a black mesh drawstring pouch, a translucent spidersilk cloak and some blue casting leathers.

I took off most of my crap.

What is the significance of all the pins?

Artha
02-21-2004, 03:37 PM
Or the 40 tattoos?

He appears to be a Human.
He appears to be mature and taller than average. He has sparkling sea green eyes and tanned skin. He has shoulder length, unkempt black hair. He has bushy sideburns.
He is in good shape.
He is wearing a salt-stained canvas sling with a rune staff poking overhead with the butt dragging behind attached to a leather sock and wheel, some double leather, a crystal amulet, a storm grey spidersilk cloak, and a salt-stained leather plunder bag.

I'm sorry,

a salt-stained canvas sling with a rune staff poking overhead with the butt dragging behind attached to a leather sock and wheel

Ey, thats me (well my wizard)! I agree thats way too wordy. Was hoping for something better since my wizard only uses a cloak and a sack, but alas these are a bit over the top.

I can't think of anything sensible when I see sock and wheel, other than whats on my feet and whats on cars and bikes. It also has an ampersand in the description which is just also odd.

Nobody notice the typo? How there's no period? And weren't these made by the same guy who made the arrow markers that make a single arrow about four lines of text?

Brevity is a good thing.

No period where?

For the when I was looking at him, he was wearing other stuff, which I cut out.

It's pretty heavily edited. I only put in what he said and the harnesses. There's a period after them normally.
