Shifting wands from CCF

Did anyone find anything good from these? I spent like 600k and got a bunch of crumbily wands at 25k a piece. total junk.

Was wondering if anyone else had better luck?

Sounds like this is just a total silver drain. Wonder if its a bug or just a waste of time on purpose.

Honestly, how many times have they reused the same stuff anyway, shifting wands at every event? They should make something new or at least make it worthwhile.

The only non-standard item I heard found ended up being an unused spell slot and the dude only got his 25k refunded. Talk about being slapped in the junk.

Well, I liked the shifting wands themselves. They had cool descriptions, and that's part of what got me excited. The idea that a couple might actually have a cool spell, or be mage rechargeable really helped too. And then there was the hope that one, maybe just one would be something special

Most of mine were crumbly disintegrate wands. All were crumbly with just a couple charges, and no spells of note. Ah well.

I found a few random spirit spells that were not rechargable and crumbly.

all the blank wands were crumbly yet the loresing said they were strong enough to handle another spell. How is that even possible if they crumble?

Total junk. I dropped a few hundred k on these right as the 2nd run was closing and they all suck. One of mine has like 2 charges of 202 and is crumbly.

I think the best you'll get out of it is a nice looking reimbeddable wand.

I'd go wild on these at 5k a pop. But paying 25k for a 2:3 chance of a blank imbeddable is dumb, especially when I can go forage a stick and imbue it for free. And it holds more mana. Snaaaap.

they use to be good for alteration fodder, you could get rare metal wands out of it... but I'm sure they put a stop to that.
