Can any help me figure out why every time I try to download the latest version of Flashplayer it downloads just fine, but when I try to run it, it always tells me it's an incomplete download, it has a virus or it a damaged disk?

Give me OS, version of browers, and exact error message please.
My wife's laptop had an issue with installing the latest version of flashplayer. Every time I downloaded it and tried to install it was corrupted.
I had to get the uninstaller from the adobe website and do a complete uninstall of flash, then reinstall from a clean slate.

*It had something to do with a registry error when upgrading from ver. 9 to 10.
Her OS was XP/SP3.
There was an extra step I had to take to clean the corrupted registry key... I'll go back and see if I can replicate the search and find out what I used to fix it.
Follow the steps here under damaged registry (midle of page should deal with your issue if I had to guess)

http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/191/tn_19166.html Yup I was going to suggest getting the uninstaller first. I ran into an issue with the uninstaller going from v7.x to v8 because it wasn't a complete uninstall and there were two files that needed to be gone so that it could install clean.
