Above, guardsmen stare down from the thick stone wall that encloses the city, wary for hostile visitors. Whether they travel to destinations in town or farther west, or to the north and east, they all appear to be seeking something beyond themselves. You also see a silver-edged parchment song scroll, a narrow footpath, the Northeast Gate, a bucket of viscous gloop and a weathered roadsign.

I opened a trial account the other day... neat concept, but I'm not a huge fan of the magic system. And it's just damn hard to play for me, also. Hm.

From what I've heard, the magic system sucks when starting. You don't have any cambrinth items (which store mana converted to energy), and you can't harness mana for shit.

I really like how a lot of your xp gain does not have to be combat. In GS, combat is the #1 way to get xp. In DR, combat is the #1 way to get combat xp, which you may or may not need to level. Even if you don't level you can still train your stats by gaining stat training points by learning non-combat skills, which is all kinds of awesome if you are having trouble fighting.
