hey guys my empath is 16 right now and swings a two hander in 5 sec and is 2x in spell aim. not sure if i want to stay this route or go with this one.

i know i want to 2x spell aim so i can use 1110 and 111. so if any of you can give me a good empath training plan to go with for the next year i would appreciate it.

My advice is to just make a determination about whether you want to cast or swing. Dedicate yourself to one or the other.

If you are going to swing a two hander you need to get CM for sure, as close to 1x as possible. I've found personally on my empath that while I'm trained in spell aim and summoning lore, my ball spells just don't stack up. Empath ball spells suck unless you have a ton of mana or are fighting trolls. So with fixskills ill likely be droping aiming and lore for armor (going for chain shirt) and more MoC for the basic 5 rank ability.

If you go magical, while I admit I'm not familiar with empath pures (or pures in general) I'd get summoning lore. This will help with 111 and also give you the ability to use web bolt, which is apparently the cats pajamas.

That's a really, REALLY solid empath build.

My basic attacks are an opening cast of 118-bolt, or 110 (for those things with lower CS, and high EBP/bolt DS.)

My followup is a cast of 1110... most things don't survive through the 3 CS cycles that follow the bolt part of the spells. I'll follow up and finish up with a steady dose of 1115, 1106, and 1101. In a swarming situation, area web + 111 is an awesome combination.


As for a swinging empath... good luck with that. I don't know enough to give sound advice on them. I don't need to, they're great hunters as the pures they're intended to be.
