Combat Mobility, especially if you're hunting solo. 15 CMPs to master it, and you gain a 100% chance to get up when not standing when you're attacked. I rely heavily on it to survive in the Bowels, and I gladly accept losing a bit of stamina to jump up with no RT instead of losing valuable time attempting to stand up.
Personally, unless that +2 AS is -really- crucial to you right now, I'd unlearn WSpec down to 4 ranks to gain the 10 CMPs you'll need to master Mobility as soon as possible.

Yeah, I always thought wspec was overrated. The higher ranks are way too expensive for +2 AS.

Rank 3 isn't so bad, rank four is a little iffy, and rank 5 is a waste of points.

helps with maneuver rolls as well if you're using the specialized weapon, and TWC people get to double-dip possibly.
I use 2 sais, and am specialized in them. I use twin hammerfists as my knockdown. Every rank of wspec is +2 AS on both weapons, as well as bonus to rolls when using twin hammer fists, disarm, etc. This applies to defending as well. I get a lot of benefit from it.
The skill is probally still overcosted for it's benefit, and i'm a bit of an exception, but you do definitely get more than just +2 AS for the investment.

Mobility for sure, and I'm liking emastery quite a bit- the new evasion one. In brig at full ranks I'm getting 15% more chance to dodge and not even face a ds check. Pretty sweet deal. Add a rogue's normally high dodge training and the appropriate spells and you're looking good.

Yeah except this person has zero cmans that use the +2 CM bonus, excepting possibly guild skills, and also doesn't use two weapons...

It was more a general response to your general critique of the skill, which was also not directly related to this person specifically, yes.
