Go for 3x in AU? PF? Dodge? I'm not really sure which offers me the most benefit. He's GoS which is why I have the Harness Power. TWC morning-stars.

Edit : Here's my cman info as well.

Auvreaian, your Combat Maneuver training is as follows:

Skill name Mnemonic Ranks
Specialization I wspec1 3

Wow how do you say that name!?
Sorry, no knowledge of GS4 warriors here. :(

Auv-rea-an.

I picked it off of a elven name website, meant "strength in might", which went well with that character's RP.

Basically, in Plat I play an evil character as in Prime I play a goodie. An example just today...

Licie [General]: "Hello everybody."
Artz [General]: "Afternoon lass."
Saska [General]: "Greetings."
Myriamie [General]: "Good day."
Daniah [General]: "Good afternoon to you."
Licie [General]: "I likes it when everybody says hi."
Mithogras [General]: "Then hello!"
Licie [General]: "Hello."
Yunia [General]: "Good afternoon . sorry, had my hands full for a moment."
Ohran [General]: "Hi."
Licie [General]: "See how nice that is?"
Artz [General]: "I just feel fuzzy all over."
Mithogras [General]: "That's your beard."
Myriamie [General]: "That's all that body hair."
Ohran [General]: "It's your beard."
Daniah [General]: "Shaving helps with that."
Licie [General]: "I don have ta run around waking folks up."
You [General]: "So I suppose I should keep my "go die in a fire holding marshmellows" comments to myself?"

3x Armor to get into full plate, can stop perception it should be enough to get you anywhere that you need to search for, unless its for personal wants. Other than 3x armor what are your goals for the warrior? All physical? Some magical skills?

My training atm is...
3x armor, stopped at full plate, might go more for 202? ranks
2x pf, I might boost this up when I get the TPs
2x dodge
2x moc (135 ranks) This was my goal 5 swings at one target.
2x thw
2x cm
50 climb
25 swim
30 perception

I might get some MIU and scroll reading...

No magic for this character, at this point. He uses others for that.

3x armor gets me into full plate, yes.
3x pf gives me stamina. Stamina makes me use manuevers/tricks. I love using spin attack and mstrike combined.
3x dodge offers me DS. This character is in Plat, so when you die you drop your crap, it makes much more of a challenge.

I jumped up to get 30 ranks of MoC for the focused mstrike. Not much moves after 4 morning stars in six seconds. I'll go back to 1x'ing it soon. I'd like to 3x AU, Dodge and PF but it's not possible at this point. Dodge isn't going to happen anytime soon, but AU/PF is viable. I'm thinking PF for redux/stamina purposes.

dodge is very expensive, kind of a pain.

definitely max out the AU to full plate. I 1-1.5x in dodge (depending on what other skills i've scaled it back for at the time) and defense hasn't been a problem for me, and that's using toothpicks for weapons so i have a much harder go if it then with beefy stars.

Get parry mastery up asap, makes a pretty noticeable difference. I put it off for a while and recently got it up to 2 ranks, well worth it. Maxing it as soon as I can.

Other than that it's a warrior....moc more or less has a soft cap, armor has benefits but you can stop it for a while after you get into full plate, etc...once you get your mstrike, your full plate...you start running low on options unless you want to start picking up a 2nd weapon skill.

I'd lean towards tripling PF once you get the chance.... good dux benefit, and as you said the stam. very nice especially if you spam a lot of Cmans and mstrike. And the maneuver defense benefits as well.

I like picking up some AS when you can as well, at least like 10 ranks or so so you can read most scrolls you pick up in the field. Lets you assess them quickly if they're worth messing with (not that finding someone to read them for you is a problem) but it's just nice. Even with a little bit it can be a decent convenience factor, 103 and 202 are on a ton of scrolls. Again, not hard spells to find but it is nice to have some self reliance in a pinch.

you could also think about getting some shield usage if it doesn't compromise your character design too much...would be handy to have some bolt defense on demand.

I've seriously thought of shield use as I found a spiked greatshield. 3x shield costs the same of moving into 3x PF. I'm not sure about character design, as his background of mastery of two stars is pretty deep. I may consider it as he moves from smaller armor due to mechanics to heavier plate.

No need to bother with shield use if you're going to dual-wield or go two-hander, and 2x dodge is just as good as 2x shield use in my experience. You might want to consider dropping 1 point in combat toughness and picking up as much combat mobility as you can. Standing while in RT when knocked over in your level range is going to be very useful.

Get your armor skills to MB, and train up to full plate by level 40. You can even increment your plate coverage by putting on armguards at 100 ranks AU, and then leg greaves at 120 ranks, finally dump drop it all for some lightweight full plate at 140 ranks.

You actually don't need to 2x in two-weapon combat either. 1.5x will give you 100% chance to hit targets of equal level with your off-hand weapon. You should have an 80% chance to hit targets up to 5 levels higher than you with 1.5x as well.

I'd also consider bumping your Ambush up to 25 for that magic number for aiming and ambushing.

How are your guild skills coming? If you're working them at all, Berserk and Tackle are both really handy once you're in some heavier armor.

Really 3x PT seems to be for after cap. I've never had the TPs to 3x in PT or Dodge thus far.

As a side note, you might consider training up some first aid. Skinning really brings in some nice coin.

Fully complete Tricks and Berserk at the minimum in the guild. I'd avoid ambush with anything other than two handed weapons.

Once you're a Berserk master MOC doesn't really have the same sort of cap in camps any more.

Keep your two weapon combat full. Maneuver wise I'd consider adding Surge. Hamstring has a pretty sweet RT for a two weapon guy as well.

PF and Dodge don't really need to be higher.

MO or AU or scrolls/items.

Mastered Tricks first, at guildwall with like 33 ranks of Berserk.

As far as Surge, I had it but decided that in the Plat world that extra health would benefit me better.

Right now the only thing I'm lacking is a knockdown manuever, as I'm not working on tackle and don't have bullrush. I'd like to think that the plan I'm on now will really start to show up in the near future. I actually had redux right before he turned level 17, and I keep up the rigors.

I would say getting into plate is first priority. After that I actually kept dodge at 1x and did 3x in PT so that surge is always up and i could disarm/feint to my heart's desire. Also, PT is the main skill in redux calculations so being 3x until the 60s or so is noticable. Dodge is more DS but as a two handed warrior you're going to get hit either way. I just chose to take those hits better. Once in plate you can dump the extras into getting dodge back to 2x.

My understanding is that going to 3x in dodge is a post cap thing. It's way too expensive for the little reward to be doing before then.

Bump. Done with Armor Use for a while, saving me 48 MTP's a level. Some of that will be used to get up my MoC, planning on having 10 ranks of EMC/SMC and a bit more HP. I'd also like to 1x MIU/AS, however if someone else has input, I'm all ears.
