How do I get this to not happen? I'm new to PsiNet so I don't know all the settings. Why was it trying to zoom me into the next room when I never entered a move command?

[Glatoph, Icy Passage]
Small openings in the ceiling allow rays of moonlight to shine in, illuminating the trail beneath you. Being careful not to slip on the icy floor, you look down through thin ice and see what you can only assume to be the river, moving under your feet.
Obvious exits: north, southwest

Your disk arrives, following you dutifully.

[Glatoph, Icy Passage]
The wind blows strongly through the narrow passages leading into this area, creating a loud howling sound. From time to time, there is a lull in the wind which allows you to hear a low rumble coming from the south. You also see a frost giant.
Obvious exits: northeast, southwest
>
A frost giant points an icy finger at you!
The frost giant's armor prevents the spell from working.
>
You are now targeting a frost giant.
>
[Roll result: 191 (open d100: 50) Bonus: 5]
You crouch, sweep a leg at a frost giant and connect!
A frost giant falls to the ground! You deftly regain your footing.
Roundtime: 5 sec.

Zoom has not received a room description in 3 seconds. Aborting after 10.
Your disk arrives, following you dutifully.

A halfling traveller arrives, following you.

A halfling mugger suddenly jumps out of the shadows!
A half-elven mugger suddenly jumps out of the shadows!
A human mugger suddenly jumps out of the shadows!

A halfling traveller fearfully exclaims, "It's an ambush!"

[Glatoph, Icy Passage]
The ceiling seems too thin here, allowing a brief ray of moonlight to enter the room and dance among the icicles stretching from above to meld with the floor. The light reflects off the walls, forming a rainbow pattern the width of the room.
Obvious exits: northeast, southwest
Zoom: All moves complete.
>rub wiregrass bracelet
[Glatoph, Icy Passage]
The path continues and forms a spectacular ice bridge over a growing stream. As you look down, the water cascades from a waterfall into a mist that shrouds an opening in the ice.
Obvious exits: northeast, south
>
You rub your wiregrass bracelet.
1d100: 36 + Modifiers: 124 == 160

A wave of dark ethereal ripples moves outward from you.
The wiregrass bracelet suddenly disintegrates!

Type psinet options and click on the zoom tab. If the first option is checked then uncheck it and I think you'll be ok.

you can also type STOP to stop a zoom queue from executing.

Because instead of just typing SW once...you instead typed SW SW SW SW SW SW SW SW SW SW SW SW SW SW SW SW

I always disabled zoom because I can't stop myself from typing n,n,n,n,n,n,n,nn,n,n,n,n,n,n,n,n,n

Thanks, I'll try this. I like the idea generally but not if it's going to work like this when I didn't even enter a move command. I'll probably keep it normally but uncheck it for child rescues and escorts.

I wasn't typing sw multiple times. The last time I typed it was the command that put me in the room with a frost giant, so I don't know why moves were queued to begin with. The only command I tried when I was in rt was "rub wiregrass bracelet". All the Zoom: sw stuff happened automatically, I wasn't typing anything. That's why I was so confused.

You didn't happen to type sw giant for sweep giant did you?

Nope, I used the Stormfront target button and then the sweep button. I dunno maybe I did have a >sw command queued since I did get the message "Zoom has not received a room description in 3 seconds. Aborting after 10" before I entered my ewave imbed command, but that's still weird since prior to that I did the target and sweep clicking and if I had a move command stored wouldn't it have executed that first?
