There appears to be a plate over the lock, sealing it and preventing any access to the tumblers.

What would cause there to be no "vibrates slightly" messaging? Is that where I would have sprung the trap if it was a trap that could be sprung?

Same lines as if you had disarmed a trap on the box & your attempt to pop the box was a critical fumble, which should of triggered the trap. But since the trap is dead nothing happened. Yes, your box was plated not trapped, but it ties into the trap system some way to cause this to happen.

IE, its a long long long standing bug, is known, and they don't care enough to fix it. You should of just gotten the nothing happens message.

I used to get that a lot. Simutronics sucks though. No surprise there.

I've always wondered what caused that. It breaks my 407 script :(
