Yet another lost returning player with questions.

It's been awhile since I last played, can't remember the year, only that it was during the time that the Landing's Bathhouse burned down during an invasion. Anyway, I cant remember much of anything about the games terminology, which in turn makes it hard to look up anything online.

So my question is: there was a character spreadsheet where you could "plug in" the numbers for training and be able to see how your character would progress for each level. The only one I've found so far looks like it was last edited in 2007. Are ther more up to date ones? This could even be an ingame feature by now, so if it is I guess I'll find out in a few hours.

Also the rogue guides I've been able to find so far seem to be the same ones I used to look at years ago. Are these up to date? Also a site that showed some rogue builds would be nice if someone could link one.

Again, sorry for the questions that I should be able to find myself. Just seem to keep coming up with old information.

Tsoran's spreadsheet is about as accurate as you're going to get. It's simutronics, and thing smove at the simu pace...thus, not much has changed since 2007. Sure they'll be some things here or there, but by and large it's about the same.

As far as builds go I would just read through the old topics here in the rogue folder, or on the officials in the rogue category, "so you want to be a rogue" topic.

Nostalgia is a powerful beast, and thus the "returning after a long time away" topic is quite common., and is covered regularly :)

2007 is pretty up to date, in GS terms. Whatever you do, just ignore the main site and following links should help:

Tsoran's spreadsheet is handy, but after you've been playing awhile, you get used to using GOALS and no longer need the spreadsheet, you can sorta plan everything out on there and then just cancel if you don't like it.

Also, the PC itself is a great archive of info. Familiarize yourself with the search function.
