Not sure about jungle trolls, but giant fog beetles roam around the broken lands, and I've seen ash hags in invasions before.

Is it just me or does it look like Simu took the lazy way out with the monsters too? Pretty lame, considering how long the area took to be released and was supposedly "finished" for years and just waiting for monsters to be tossed in.

Guess this confirms that Greymist is just a place with recycled monsters:

Not that it's necessarily a bad thing, but the GMs are always using the excuse of "Creating new monsters is a very long and difficult task, blah blah blah", yet when an area comes out that's been finished fpr 5+ years and the only thing supposedly holding it back were lack of monsters, yet they just dump already existing stuff into the area anyway.

So why wasn't it done 5 years ago?

Greymist was good for about 5 minutes when it opened to reap all the cash from killing mass amounts of critters in a 10 minute time period. Some people that helped hack the way in walked out with quite a few hundred thousand in silvers. Now granted this was only because there were 50 trolls per room in every room room when it opened. The best you can hope for now there is about 30-40K on an average hunt till you run out of mana hunt.

35-40k for a use all your mana hunt isn't really that bad if you're within the level range of the place. If you're level 100 or something, then yeah that'd be some shitty loot.

Greymist is really depressing for me, not because I'd ever live on Teras (wtf would I want to be trapped on an island with smelly dwarves for) but because I was really hoping the GM's would come through on that high level hunting ground stuff. They've had ample time.

Got a link? I don't remember them stating it like that. More of a "don't expect new high level areas to become a priority" or some shit like that.

Though with the rather massive amount of screaming on the official boards about how people are sick of being tied to EN, how their citizenship system contradicts itself since hunting mechanics force you out of your home town (unless you made Ta'Illistim your home), etc., and how the whole sense of community is ruined over time because people are forced out of their town if they wish to continue advancing their character...I wouldn't be surprised if Simu pulled their heads out of their ass even for just one moment and say to themselves "Hey, maybe these guys are right!"

And yes I realize that was a run-on sentence, for you people that have never touched a female breast.
