Getting dropped

OF COURSE as I got in the water to swim to the temple I was dropped and logged in dead.
I just got dropped about 10 times in 10 mins and saw in the death screen everyone who hunts temple all die together.
Wondered if it was affecting anyone else.

I noticed yesterday that I was being dropped about once every 10-15 minutes. My internet continued to work fine. Luckily I decided not to hunt, so the entire time my ass was hunkered on the dais.

That sounds like a reasonable precedent for GMs to set.

It's not terribly abusable if they keep a record of how much this happens to people.

Maybe even once a quarter, month, or so. Once a year goof fix like fixskills. I know how terribly frustrating it can be for this to happen, but I never felt I could present a strong enough case to get something done.

On the other hand I so abused that water for PVP. Either scripting to 720 Atreau every time he came out of the water or the script to attempt and give him 99,000 silver on his way in.

It's funny however that no GM EVER said shit about me fucking with that dbag. He warn interacted me everyday almost. Sucks to be on the shit list I suppose.

I haven't been able to really play since 5/6/09 because of obscene lag. Most of the time I can't get past the 'validating userID' on SGE. So far my emails to tech support have gone unanswered. :comp:

I feel better now seeing that I'm not alone in lag land.

Make sure your firewall isn't set to block outgoing connections from SGE. that's what happened to me. Some smartass set my firewall to block SGE from opening a connection(Actually it was me. lol)
