DCW is one slot below HCW on the weighting scale. Great to take to CCF and get more weighting or enchanting.

Don't be turned off by it having less than heavy weighting. Mechanically it's like a 4x fel-hafter, except with the extra enchant you're getting more raw damage on every hit and you're more likely to activate the crit weighting by hitting the minimum damage threshhold to get a rank 1 crit.

To illustrate my point on the weighting, take the DF of a handaxe against plate, .210. With +5 extra enchant, that's guaranteed 1 extra damage on every hit. The difference in phantom damage for crit purposes between DCW and HCW is 1 (4 vs. 5), which is offset by the extra point of damage due to the higher endroll. Against lighter armor the extra enchant comes out ahead.
