My company had always hit it's earnings predictions. Last quarter, they pushed the predictions a little far (which they've never done before) and missed them by a penny.

Today, four of my co-workers were laid off (office of 20 or so people) and my boss's position will not be replaced when she leaves (she already put in her resignation). All of the laid-off employees were told 30 minutes before we found out and were asked to leave as soon as they were told. No goodbyes, nothing.

I'm part of a big corporation, blah blah blah, cutbacks accross the board, blah blah blah. It sucks.

Couldn't you just donate a penny to the cause? Cutbacks suck bro I feel you. I've seen plenty of people walked out because of them.

Haven't you heard the latest statistics?

Cutbacks to save money flows into a now growing job market that flows into no change in employment rates that flow into the final reason. It is a larger profit margin for us if we make our workforce compensate for our growing employment needs.

It's the American dream.

I hate unions, but this is the reason they are needed.

I think he means a penny per share, Anticor. If he's part of a big corporation, they may have hundreds of millions of shares.

I could take my pants off and start the revolution.

(please, if I misquoted badly, be gentle. I'm not wearing any pants)

Mmmm, kissed some ass and had a great dinner at the same time. Anyone else been to the "Malibu Grill" (Brazillian Food)? Carnivore heaven.

Wow...I'm sorry to hear that about your company. Just guard your stapler with your life and avoid any meetings with the bob's!

"Hmm...yeeeeeaaah...."
