and put the points in wisdom?

Wisdom and/or logic. STR grows quick for a warrior.

WIS for TD, LOG for exp. absorb.

As far as training, unless you like skinning tasks, drop the FA and survival, get some of the tictures people make in alchemy and its 3sec RT.

Add more dodge for DS and evasion.

Polearm warrior sounds fun though.

It is fun. Just trying to be different.

My plan is to go to zul and stay there for a while with sporadic travel to EN or landing. Figured the FA would help keep me from bleeding out once in a while considering how deserted it is. Drop survival alright though? I have only hunted to keep my mind from emptying on runs to GoS headquarters.

Cman wise, is it recommended to go to rank 5 for surge early or wha? I want to get charge to rank 3 ASAP. Is this staying in Zul even practical when guild training? I've never run a warrior before.

I take a completely different path on Warrior training.

Strength is a prime training point generator. You can always fixstat later along the line.

Ditch the survival and first aid. Your skinning is going to be dubious. That frees up points. FA isn't going to keep you from bleeding...Sunfist will.

Staying in Zul isn't terribly practical for guild training. Limited populace for audience reps and partners for partner reps. You can just travel to Vaalor or Illy though.

Maneuver wise I went for Spec and Bonding first. Then I moved to Surge and Coup. Maneuver opinions vary greatly though.

In general, be hard to screw up warrior training, your job is to tank up to take the blows.

I've never been fond of surge after the cooldown went in (same with shadowmastery) and almost always looks for passive ones, and you got the good ones, mobility and bonding. Others good I find are feint, disarm, and the usual litany of disablers.

But you are right, being unique and having fun is always best.

Coup for a polearm warrior? Seems like the weapon will be enough itself.

Don't get me wrong, i loved the hell out of coup on my warrior...but i was basically the exact opposite of the spectrum (small weapon TWC)

You can get stacking AS boosting with Coup and Surge bouncing on and off and the rest being passive maneuvers.

Sometimes you can time a berserk on top of that... and things get really interesting. The no cooldown MO attacks with big weapons in berserk (lances or claidhs) are sick.

Oh, if your hunting the landing, I could use a warcamp partner for my young ranger, drop me a PM or IM.

Ranger is 13.

Not meaning to just take over your thread. But didn't really want to make a new one based on the same thing.
My grace period is coming up and I was looking to see how I should change my stats and such.
Lvl 12 giant warrior.

Strength (STR): 96 (38) ... 96 (38)
Constitution (CON): 86 (28) ... 86 (28)
Dexterity (DEX): 94 (17) ... 94 (17)
Agility (AGI): 94 (17) ... 94 (17)
Discipline (DIS): 74 (12) ... 74 (12)
Aura (AUR): 63 (1) ... 63 (1)
Logic (LOG): 62 (1) ... 62 (1)
Intuition (INT): 48 (-1) ... 48 (-1)
Wisdom (WIS): 54 (2) ... 54 (2)
Influence (INF): 41 (1) ... 41 (1)

I know I'm going to need to take STR down a little, since it'll grow.
And was thinkin of taking dex and agil down to wear the bonus is around 26 or so total, because I don't see him getting 38 anytime soon to get another -1 rt.
So i'm wondering where I should put those stats in, wisdom? Logic?

Armor Use.........................| 132 36
Combat Maneuvers.............| 102 24
Two-Handed Weapons.........| 114 28
Multi Opponent Combat........| 102 24
Physical Fitness..................| 102 24
Dodging.............................| 102 24
Harness Power....................| 35 7
Perception.........................| 58 12
Climbing............................| 40 8

The climbing I got because I was goin to Zul and needed it to get there.
Um... Pretty basic.
Not sure if I need anything or need to take something down.
Um.. Using a maul at the moment...

Have Cmans: Wbond 2, Wspec 3, Surge 2.
Looking for a disabler, but don't got the cman points just yet.

Any help appreciated..
Oh and I just joined GoS.
So looking for Warcamp partners.

You'll get disabling type help when you get feint through the guild. Stats are your call.. there are training point reasons to leave Str + Con up...and weapon speed reasons for dex and agi.

JuKaM

Well would it be a bad idea to take dex and agil down a little since I dont see myself getting another RT taking off of my swing.
I'll probbaly take strength down just a little.

Warriorbird
04-15-2009, 03:54 PM
Totally reasonable if you're not going to get extra swing speed out of it.

JuKaM
04-15-2009, 04:10 PM
If I did do that.
Would it mess up my RT for Mstrike?
Right now im at 9 rt for 2 swings, 12 rt for 3.
That bad..good?
