The longbow isn't going anywhere. I highly doubt the composite will ever move, which leaves only the short bow.

I just want to know WHERE the bows are being used. I've seen Tsin use his. That is the only time i've ever seen them used. Just like the shadowdeath vamb's. I've only ever seen them used/rped once, and that is when Nuadjha had his. E-bows too. Just never see any of this stuff in use.

I'm using bow#1 (random missiles/flares) on my rogue on Teras, and the bow#2 (ranger bow) on my, you guessed it, ranger in the landing whose working on mastering sunfist.

My majority of my gear I use, or as you seen recently, been posted for sale.

I've trained CM disarm in some effort to stop my bow being thrown on the floor and me staring at it for 20secs before 708ing anything that got it.
This is why I prefer the gauntlets to e-bows.
Can't hold an arrow on e-bows.

I started a new character to use the short bow gauntlet after I got it. Hes currently hunting behind the gate in Mule and loves going into war camps. He also RP's with it and learning how to form the bow from his own power still has a hard time with it sometimes. Mario is also right I will never get rid of it.

As for the composite I've talked to the owner of that at some fests and they said it is not going anywhere and no clue on the Longbow but guessing that its the same.

These are heinously overrated.

They're only 5x for 95% of the time instead of 10x as bows should almost always be.

Flares are a complete waste (exception: non-corp) on bows given you should almost always be crit killing to the eye.

There's a reason Tsin wanted to buy back my glowbark crossbow before the massive crossbow nerf.

I didn't worry about my x-bow being disarmed by open rolls because I always carried a backup.

Yes, but I don't get swung/cast at. I sneak around and ewave everything. I play with droppage though, so, I take extra precautions.

I have rank 5 disarm just for protection. Open rolls are the devil. Because not only are you disarmed, since it's an open roll, you're probably in a load of RT too.

Not true. Lucos has 5 ranks of disarm and still gets disarmed in OTF. It takes an open roll, but it still happens.

I don't sit around Jans long enough most times. They are worth no exp. Sure, open rolls CAN get me, but you can't train open rolls away. For any normal roll though, one rank does the trick.
