question about armor

I have a warrior with 40 ranks of armor, so he's currently wearing chain mail. Now, I know chain mail only covers the torso, so what kind of penalties would I be facing if I added a helm/leg&arm greaves? Increased rt? I tried it out briefly and didn't really notice anything hindering me, though I'm sure something must cause hindrance since I'm not trained for chain protection from head to toe.

You'll be in halfplate then and 80 ranks won't work either.

Every misc armor piece you wear bumps you up an armor ASG.

MBP+arm greaves=aug plate
+leg greaves=halfplate
+helm=fullplate

Note that you don't have to wear BOTH arm and leg greaves to equal halfplate. Just wearing the leg greaves is enough, or wearing a helm with just MBP will push you to full plate.

ROFL...

Knowing the engine, I highly doubt they can cancel each other out properly in the formula.

My bet...the resistance does nothing, if it can even be applied (messaging maybe, but true success? Hmm).
