View Full Version : Alternate-named Runestaff
I'm looking for a runestaff that isn't described as a "runestaff." Anything like this out there? I'd love to just have a "staff" that acted as a runestaff for defensive purposes, for instance.

There's shepards crooks as well.
Are the crooks off-the-shelf, or do I need to hunt one down?

I have a scepter in my shop.
Atlas Room #9800, go shop.
Last time I checked the kobold shepherds' crooks, they were quarterstaves and not runestaves. I'll have to see if they got converted.
Yeah, the kobold shepherd crooks are quarterstaves. I found a couple crooks at playershops, but they cost more than I'm willing to spend on one.
If anyone has a runestaff-based crook and is willing to part with or sell it, please let me know.

the alternate nouns were approved within the last year, or little more than that. You can just get one altered to a crook
I think I've gotten a grand total of 3 alters in over 12 years of playing.

I'll hook you up later tonight, Farn.

Thing is, I really don't have the patience for alter-hunting and line-waiting, since I generally don't much like "unique" items. I keep all my gear nice and common so that I won't ever be bummed if I lose anything. All 3 of my alters were "I just happened to be there, and since I got picked, why not?"
Thanks for the hookup, Stunseed. It'll be weird to actually see you again. Heh.

Merchant offers you a slender length of faewood inlaid with thorny spirals of dark iron. Click ACCEPT to accept the offer or DECLINE to decline it. The offer will expire in 30 seconds.
Helps if you find a noob GM. You're a bad person if you do it, though.

Sorry I missed you, but I'll get you hooked up tomorrow when I get off of work.
No worries, I'm not in a rush.
