Few questions on warrior made sheaths...

How alterable are they? Does the mark have to stay on them from the maker? Can scripts be added to them (i.e. blessing sheath)?

1. I don't think there is any restriction on alterations. I know someone that has a completely different alter on his (started with 50 rat hides). If you lacquer the sheath it hides the pelt anyway
2. I don't see why the mark would have to stay unless you wanted it to.
3. Not certain.

From what I've heard from other people, they can be a pain in the ass to get altered. You can do a lot with the customization of the sheaths, though. You can definitely hide the type of skin, dye it any one of a million colors and add fringe or gems to it.

The mark is a step that can be skipped during creation.

No idea if you can add scripts to it like that.

Coase posted from the original announcement that sheaths can be altered, though once altered they can't be worked on further by the warrior who made it. Whether a merchant will touch it, though, is another matter entirely.

I'm just wondering if I should waste my time getting a warrior-made one and then try for a blessing sheath at CCF.

It can't hurt. Has anyone asked on the official boards?

If you provide the skins, and silver to cover cost, I'll make one for you.
