I haven't watched this - doesn't a modern-day sniper win by default? Or a fighter pilot or something?

I think it focuses more on mêlée fighting. So you could take a modern day soldier, but he would be fighting with at best a M-16 AR2 with a fixed beonett(sp)

I'm going Viking, personally. The Samurai will prolly show better, but I think while the Samurai would show his foe honor, the Viking will rape his face.

I swear the Pirate vs Knight battle from the First Season was soooo rigged.

In testing, the Pirate's Grenado, Flintlock, Cutlass, and Boarding Axe couldn't (That's right, COULD NOT) penetrate the Knight's platemail, but they were still awarded kills in the simulation.

Crap, I say.
