p.s.: The real question is when the Sox will dump Varitek's corpse. When he hits .200 in May? .180 in June? We all love the guy, but enough already. 37-year-old catchers don't generally cut it.

Rays.
Even tho it pissed me off that the ALCS winners AGAINST the bosox got scheduled to open in boston in shitty weather rather than at home in a dome.
That field and multiple rain outs sucked ass.

I think they really tried this year. But have you taken a look at the catcher market lately? I think the young players have finally smartened up and realized that it's no fun putting in 3x the effort just to have your knees ruined by age 30. Hence, no catchers out there. Maybe they'll get desperate and pull up some minor leaguer in july, before he's ready.

Varitek did homer on opening day. He's on pace to hit 162 HR

The phillies are off to a bang up start and the met's will implode in August, but the Brave's are looking less sucky this year.

Arrrgh. Steinbrenner controls the rights of Yankees broadcasts like what.
I was watching a Yankee game on ESPN and all of a sudden, SHAZZAM, you are not authorized to watch anything remotely close to the YES Network unless you switch to Comcast.
I don't pay the TV bills so I don't have any say in the matter. The Dish Network is fascist at your face.

I had picked him up for my fantasy team too after he pitched like six scoreless innings last night. Now I don't think he'll be contributing much though.
Yes it's very sad. I shouldn't joke.
