Ok so here's the deal.

Scotland has a quasi-national anthem, Scotland the Brave. I know how that song goes, and without getting too off-topic I seriously wonder about Scots who prefer other songs for their anthem. Anyway, there seem to be at least two other songs in this clip, of which I am most interested in information regarding the third (starting at 2:34): what is its name? who wrote it? do they speak English in what? And so on.

I am also curious as to why someone would lump these three clearly dissimlar songs together and pass them off as the title tune, but I suspect that information will not be forthcoming.

I don't think it's more than one song smooshed together. I listened to a couple other clips of the same tune and they all sounded like the clip you linked.

But I just listened to more bagpipe music in the last few minutes than I have in the past decade so take my opinion with a grain of salt. Or a bucket of salt. Whatever.
