Browsing the PC on your Mobile?

Anyone browse the PC on your mobile?

I got T-Mobiles G-1 phone yesterday and I can browse the PC but I can't get to certain things like .. Today's Posts and then every now and then it won't go to a certain page of a thread. For some reason in Nilandia's thread whenever I tried to go to the last page it would bring up some guys picture.

Anyone else use theirs and have similar problems?

I've seen a few posts from Parkbandit and Daniel saying there were posting from their phones.

It probably would help to disable display of avatars, signatures, and images.

I use my LG Musik to browse the PC on occasion. Not nearly as good as an iPhone or such would be, though.

i can post no problems and i can see individual thrreads fine but when i go to new posts it wont give me anything besides vbulletin error? it tells me to try different terms

I post from my iPhone 2-3 per week.

Never really had any issues.

I use my G1 to browse but I use view new posts instead of today's posts.

Ok, so I'm home now and I'm going to attempt to explain this a little better and see what help I can get.

When I am logged in on my phone and click New Posts it says:

Sorry - no matches. Please try some different terms.

Also in the upper left hand corner where is usually lists what portion of the forums you're on it says ... The Gemstone IV Players' Corner and then down one "step" it says "vBulletin Message"

If I log out and click Today's Posts: It's stating the same thing, although I thought earlier today I actually got the list. 99% sure I did. grrr

But I can click any individual topic and go down to a specific thread and read/post.

Soooo frustrating.

So, after much testing. I figured out it has something to do with the "New Posts" link. It does something like =getnew and I think the way this phone works it breaks that off. I can copy the URL link itself, put it in a new browser window and it works.

Side note: I seem to be having gmail problems with this phone. I'll get duplicate messages or I won't get notifications like I'm supposed to get notifications. Do any Iphone users have any similar problems? Thinking about starting a new thread since interest in this one is probably gone! I have 13 more days to cancel everything and I'd like opinions on what problems there are with the Iphone.
