Are Forged weapon made of imflass lighter than their vultite, or non-imflass metal equivalents?
If they are lighter is their any reason I would not want to forge Perfect Imflass and then enchant it up to 7x?

Well unless you're a small race (or have a RP reason) there really is no reason to get imflass forged weapons, get something with an even enchantment.

So can imflass not be enchanted to 7x because it has the goofy bonus, and the question still stands are the forged weapons lighter?

Imflass can only normally be enchanted to +32 without a special potion, special merchant, or premium point usage.

Yes, they should be lighter.

Imflass has a .7x weight modifier. Vultite has a .8x weight modifier. These are compared to steel, which is the 1.0 standard.

So basically it depends on the weapon base but if it's heavy enough it might come out one pound lighter when compared to vultite. Not worth it for 3 AS. Also, vultite is stronger and that matters a lot.
