ps: no I really don't eat people..and haven't ever... but if I am stranded in alaska from some kind of plane crash I'm sure as hell not going to starve.. In fact if I ever have to fly over some stranded place I'm packing spices with my gear.

After eating 'normal' old school french food (head cheese, some pate's, etc), human flesh probably tastes similar and has a better texture.


I will admit, when I was making head cheese for the first time, the part that I sampled in a random grab was a piece of skin of the pigs head, and when I had it in my mouth, the texture of it immediately made me think of what it would feel like if I just ripped a chunk out of someones arm (and cooked it a little bit to loosen the fat I guess ;p) Kinda grossed me out texturewise.

Tasted good though.

If I was starving I'd chow down on human flesh without remorse. If someone else had already cooked it that is. I doubt I could bring myself to do the necessary butchery of the body and preparation for cooking. But then again, I've never been starving before so who knows.

I'm not sure if you're serious or not, but the human body is already designed to break it's self down for energy in starvation situations. And I'm betting it's a more efficient process than hacking of a limb and eating it.
