Formalwear Jewelry Help

I need some help with jewelry for our cruise in April. Basically one of the dresses that I'm wearing is similiar to the one below but is in an aubergine duchesse satin with a much lower and rounded neckline. The neckline and waist of my dress both have the beading that is on the dress posted below. The neckline is low enough that I have to wear a strapless bra, the sleeves are more off shoulder as well.

I am going to snag some jewelry from Ebay. Should I go with a close to the neck choker type, a dangling type or no necklace and chandelier earrings? I picked out a purple crystal type necklace, a few crystal and pearls and a few with just crystals.

I'm wearing strappy silver heels with a clutch to match. The only other jewelry that I would be wearing would be my diamond stud earrings (I'd replace if dangling earrings would look better) and my platinum wedding set. My hair is blonde with a loose curl type bob that is about chin length.

I found this store on Ebay that looks decent. I'm not looking for an heirloom piece, just something to jazz up this pretty modest gown. Thanks for your help.

Not that I'm a lot of help - the only time in my life I ever dressed formally was my first wedding. The only jewelry I wore was a very simple necklace.

With that neckline the one I liked best was the double strand clasping the medallion. I liked the shape, not the pearls. If you could find something built similarly but in diamonds, or chain and the medallion a diamond, to tie in with your earrings and wedding set. And I'd do silver or platinum, not gold.

I found some purple accessories that I really like. I swear Ebay is worse than a slot machine. You keep looking, thinking you'll find "the right one" on the next page/store etc...I actually bid on this set, I think that it will look great. If necessary I can change to a strappy black sandal with clutch, if the silver doesn't work well.
