I guess I'm moronic and simplistic too because I love that song. Yeah I'm a pig, what can I say. The first day I heard it, as soon as I got home I opened up iTunes and downloaded it.

And the song is about anything that you do to.. um.. arouse.. whatever.

Heh, while I'm not exactly a militant feminist...haven't women come further than just shaking thier buns, chest, whatever?

Maybe not, but I hope so anyway!

I guess it's the whole sex sells thing, huh? Because the music is pretty boring except it gets in your head and doesn't go away..:groans:

Watch the video. It's about oral sex. "I could teach you, but I'd have to charge."

Bobmuhthol

Since when is a milkshake oral sex? And since when do you only charge for oral sex?

Heard it once. Hopefully never again. Mumbling is not music.

I hate that song.

I saw it on SNL on Saturday Night. After the song, my husband looks at me and says, "What the hell was that?"

It was like a bunch of people, who were quite obviously good musicians, coming together to all play different parts in the joint effort to make chaotic noise.

It sucked. Heh.

KIA.

I said watch the video, dumbass. You SUCK on a milkshake. And she says she'd charge for LESSONS to be as good as her, not for the oral.

Kelis' first album had some great singles off of it.. the songs had a lot of meaning and feeling behind them. Believe it or not, she CAN sing. I guess it didn't sell well enough.....

I still love the song though, I'm with CT!

Rap (and to a lesser extent hip hop) are the worst things to happen to our culture since the drug fueled disco days. I am not going to say the entire genre, but a good 95% of it, is garbage.

Most rap consists of poorly written (and rapped, I can't call it singing) lyrics laid to a simplistic but catchy beat. A catchy beat and crappy lyrics does not music make. I am hoping that this is a fad and will fade the same way disco did.

As bad as this song is, it can't touch magic stick (http://www.sing365.com/music/lyric.nsf/Magic-Stick-lyrics-50-Cent/3C40F2E708A034B148256CF000055653) or in da club (http://www.lyricsondemand.com/0/50centlyrics/indaclublyrics.html).

Haha, I got the Saturday Night Fever soundtrack for Christmas. Of course, it was a gag gift since I usually only listen to country western.

Yea, thats doubtful blazing. But then again you live in your own world anyway.

I figured it would have been brought up by now, the real version of the song is called 'blow job' thats how it is titled on the CD. If you hear the edited version then you are hearing 'milkshake' which is why it does not make as much sense. Either way the song still sucks.

Ooh, had to take the pot shot huh? Here's one back. I'm VERY glad that I live in a world different than yours. Being the thug gangbanger that you are, I would have it no other way.

How long has hip-hop been around? A fad? Nope.

It has been around a long time in name. The style has changed greatly though.

:grr: This song annoys the hell out of me! I don't usually hate songs, but yeah, I hate this song. "My milkshake brings all the boys to the yard, and my life is better than yours..." So...she's a delerious ho? If I hear the weather girl on the morning show i watch sing this one more time i think I'm gonna scream. Seriously, MTV needs to be nuked since it only helps spawn these things on to bigger things. She gets more hype then Evanescence?? what's up with that?? Evanescence actually has good songs! (Amy Lee is a *hottie* for sho!) I could care less if she sang about her milkshake, but the rythem and melody of that song is painful. Make it stop...please...make it stop?

Someone give her a smoothie. (now thats a metaphor to think about ;) )
