Looking to gauge the market value on this runestaff I found
a burnished witchwood runestaff
------------
The first thing that strikes you about the runestaff is the weight, which is about 2 pounds. In your best estimation, it's worth about 1,200,000 silvers.
-----------
It has a bonus of +22 from a normal runestaff, and the way it vibrates in tune with your voice tells you that it requires skill in twohanded weapons to use effectively. It also has some type of special ability, but you can't tell what yet.
The runestaff resonates with your voice, indicating that it enhances its owner in the following ways:
It provides a bonus to Elemental Lore - Fire Ranks.
This enhancement may not be used by adventurers who have not trained 10 times.
It provides a bonus to Dexterity.
This enhancement may not be used by adventurers who have not trained 33 times.
You think that you could probably find out something more about the runestaff's enhancive properties if you tried.
The harmonics generated tell you that the runestaff helps defend the one who wields it.

The runestaff looks to have a lot of charges remaining.
You sense that the witchwood runestaff will persist after its last enhancive charge has been expended.
-----------
When compared in offensive to a +22 fireleaf runestaff these were the results it produced
XXXXX swings a closed fist at you!
AS: +96 vs DS: +295 with AvD: +17 + d100 roll: +13 = -169
A clean miss.
>give kir
You offer your fireleaf runestaff to XXXXX, who has 30 seconds to accept the offer. Type CANCEL to prematurely cancel the offer.
>
XXXXX has accepted your offer and is now holding a bent fireleaf runestaff.
>get w rune
You remove a burnished witchwood runestaff from in your silver cloak.
>nod
You nod.
>
XXXXX swings a closed fist at you!
AS: +96 vs DS: +302 with AvD: +17 + d100 roll: +57 = -132
A clean miss.
So it would appear to have a defender bonus of +7 but I'll let you runestaff experts correct me on that.
Anyway I'm looking for a ballpark figure out the market value.
