Looking to gauge the market value on this runestaff I found

a burnished witchwood runestaff

The first thing that strikes you about the runestaff is the weight, which is about 2 pounds. In your best estimation, it's worth about 1,200,000 silvers.

When compared in offensive to a +22 fireleaf runestaff these were the results it produced

So it would appear to have a defender bonus of +7 but I'll let you runestaff experts correct me on that.

Anyway I'm looking for a ballpark figure out the market value.

Too low. Start with an MB of 5, expect to get 10-12.

Bit of a double whammy there. +5 to DEX Bonus (10/2 = 5) = +5 to Bolt AS, doesn't it? Add that to that the fire lore and it makes it perfect for immolation wizards.

Finally, count the rare wood AND that it looks to tack on +7 to your DS and I think it is one hell of a find.

Min bid 5 Mill IMO.

No material dropped from the treasure system can be considered rare anymore. Rare in this case means not sold off the shelf.

I still don't think it's rare (with your definition) enough to merit more than a 100k price increase.

+7 defender is like 7x enchanted in offensive on the defender alone. That's more like a 12x runestaff in offensive stance as far as DS goes. Great for channeling or getting caught switching from offensive to guarded. That alone is woth 8mil. I wouldn't accept anything less than 13mil on this runestaff it was me.
