Winds continue to hammer the small island of Four Winds, the heavy rains and lightening beating down upon the resort town of Mist Harbor. Citizens, concerned for the safety of their shops and homes have begun to board their windows and some have even closed theirs doors for good.
Chantaclair, the owner of the boutique on the isle, is one of those citizens. Tired of the rain and the constant winds, shes closed her doors for the last time this morning. Rumors say that shes sold her shop to an elven woman from out of Loenthra, though there isnt any proof to support it.
Citizens gathered outside the vineyard today as the eccentric Boggle rampaged through the air. Swearing and cursing, he is reported to have been flanked by his nieces who were attempting to calm him. Shaking them off, Boggle claimed that no storm could keep him from sailing and he ran off to the bay. Mere moments later, he was seen to be sailing towards the Western Edges of Koars Teeth, a reef that rises high out of the waters on that side of the island.
In other news, reports have finally surfaced that the mayor of Mist Harbor has turned up missing. Delsey, the assistant to the Games Commissioner, admitted that her superiors had known for some time that the mayor was missing and that they had tried to suppress the knowledge until more facts could be provided.
Concerned for the damage that the increase of winds and rain could do to the Silken Mist, Delsey says that she has been asked to instruct the crews to bring the boat around to the safety of the Western Harbor.
As the rains increase and the winds take their tolls, rumors abound in the small town. Why have the rains not stopped? What are the odd flashes seen in the streaks of lightning high above? Where is the mayor? Can anything be done to save the small island?
