I know Obama can't read them all personally, but I don't see how the White House staff can possibly read 40,000 letters a day. And I imagine they all have to go through some kind of security screening before they're sent to the White House. It's hard to imagine the scope of processing so many letters.

I call Obama a Marxist Socialist because he identified himself as one in one of his books, sorry I don't have the quote and page and all, I am sure someone can find it.

The comment is this, I think the man is very clever at parlaying a decent appearance, decent though not inspired speaking ability and his race into a Presidential election. He has an average political career, won many of his early elections through legal manuvers to get his opponents disqualified and has about as much genuine leadership experience as my cocker spaniel. He has the typical far Left mindset of "I know better" and apparently didn't learn from history. We got nailed with the largest piece of pork spending in history, a plan for recovery that has been PROVEN on more than one occasion to not work and lastly, we are now saddled with an administration that wants to really wage class war and social war against the things that have made this country great for over 200 years.

I am just hoping that people will wake up and see what Liberalism/Socialism really means and how just because we are in the US and think we are so smart, we can't make it work either, BEFORE it gets too deeply entrenched and takes genuine social revolution to get rid of. A few examples in action:

-Spare the rod, spoil the child. Dr. Spock on child raising. How well has this mush headed idea worked?
-Fourty years of the Great Society and welfare. Any less poverty?
-Removing the responsability of parents to parent and males to raise the kids they make. Yeah, how is this going?
-Thirty plus years of shifting the tax burden from the lower and middle class to the middle and upper class, those who use the most tax money pay the least. How well is this working?
-Fifty plus years of class warefare, make the rich pay. Yep, working well, how many simply leave the country or hide assets?
-nearly 100 years of shifting responsability off of the individual. "It's not my fault I stabbed myself in the eye with a screwdriver, it is the maker's fault they didn't have a warning, I want my 2 million dollars." I belong to a group that can't condone the carrying fo water to people participating in a strenuious physical activity in the sun as a group sponsored activity because they might get sued because they don't provide a brand new, sanitary cup for each person and someone might not wash their hands in refilling the water bottled from the garden hose. Yeah, this is working out well.

Simply put, Liberalism/Socialism doesn't work and is destructive and every country that has tried it either resorts to guns to control their people because it becomes a repressive regime or is trying to get rid of it as fast as they can because they can't support themselves any more. Sooner or later, it implodes and collapses. So, why continue to try it? Someone once said that insanity is the act of doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. So, we must be insane to keep doing this crap because even in our OWN country, it has proven over and over to not work and people keep hoping it will.

Someone else once said "put your hopes and deams in one hand and shit in the other and see which one fills up faster." Folks, we have the shit and the pile is just growing bigger, it is time to put down the glade and grab a shovel.

Liberalism is a conceptual school of thought based around permissiveness and promoting social support for those that are unwilling or unable to support themselves. That everyone deserves equality in everything and that the only valid result is equality of outcome regardless of all other factors. Socialism is a Socio/Political/Economic system that is the extreme development of Liberalism where the attempt to enforce equality of outcome is perpetrated by force and collusion through forced wealth re-distribution and is typically rife with corruption, malfeasance and fails under it's own weight as more and more people want more and more while doing less and less to earn it. The end result is collapse under it's own weight of wealth re-distribution due to ignoring the simple facts A. Not everyone is equal and B. If you can't get anything more by doing more, there is no reason to do anything other than the very least possible.

And no, you are misquoting, in the Bible, it is plank, not beam and I do believe that comes from my poor, old, King James piece of propaganda and the NIV version I borrowed uses the same term, plank, not beam, so no, not paraphrase, misquote. Now, get YOUR facts straight.
