That's a peruvian whip scorpion...they're in peru/chile.

Okay there's one more place I ain't going.
The one before was after hearing a story about those flesh eating desert spiders. They could crawl onto you while you sleep, inject some of their venom into you and you wouldn't feel a damn thing. When you woke up, half your face would be missing. I don't even want to know what that sucker can do.

I've seen bigger bugs when I was living in the Philippines.
Anyone who posts bug pictures without warning in the thread title needs to be fed to bugs. So creeped out right now.

In Florida we have Palmetto Bugs (huge cockroaches) that fly. Living here all my life bugs don't really bother me. I just tell the tourists 100 years ago this was jungle, live with it.

I use to have an emperor scorpion and 3 rats for pets. :) Scorpions kick ass, they glow under black lights...some of them at least. (maybe all, not sure)
