Shield Size

I'm working on a pure bard. He's your typical polearm user now but is level 29...so changing soon! My question is, i was thinking of switching him to shield and brawling. It looks like 1019, 1035 and blurs all add dodge ranks. Does this mean I should go with a smaller shield size? What do you think...or should I just scrap the shield alltogether?

If you're training in air lore, it reduces the hinderance of larger shields. Bards are super sexy like that.

What you want to do it sit and compare how your air lore reduces your shield hindrance, your end game goal is to sing a greatshield with the hindrance of a targe. As you get towards that goal you just sing the largest shield your air lore can compensate for.

And as far as weapons go make sure you sing something you can eventually Tonis to 1 second, all you want is something that can scratch enough to set off your double air flares.
