She played in the remake version of Parent Trap, she was the British mom. I had no idea she was married to Liam til I just read that. So so sad.

Seems ski patrollers requested an ambulance for Richardson but when the paramedics responded they were told they were not needed. Another ambulance was called later to Richardson's hotel, after her condition had worsened, and she was rushed to a hospital. Would it have made a difference? Who knows. But tragic, nonetheless.

They could have relieved the pressure on her brain.

Most times we have bruising and swelling our skin just stretches to let the blood in. The skull prevents that when you bruise your brain.
