You know, I sort of lament at the fact that new and cool GM auction items may never come out... at least at the caliber of some of the oldies.

Why you ask? Well, just a matter of statistics I guess. Declining population VS. # of super items floating about in existence.

It's kinda sad.

I think that items with insane padding/weighting are about the only thing they don't like to release anymore, along with high end self-chargers. I would say some of the newer auction quality items definitely measure up to the old ones.

I happen to love my AD wand. Any Self-knowledge spell items are pretty amazing if you think about it. The Greater Shadowdeath Vambraces, etc.

Why would a GM need to create items? You can just make up your own!


The claidhmore resonates with your voice, indicating that it enhances its owner in the following ways:
It provides a bonus of 26 to Strength.
This enhancement may not be used by adventurers who have not trained 40 times.
The claidhmore looks to have more than your average giantman could count charges remaining.

You sense that the steel claidhmore will persist after its last enhancive charge has been expended.

You gotta read between the lines. Between what is "cool" and what is legitimately powerful. Most of the items today are not powerful and more convenience items at best. Although, perhaps this can be fun for many people. But I want to see REAL power.

Something like a spear that you can hurl into the air utter the target's name and have it do a fantastically crit weighted shot against the target anywhere in the world or a pet demon dog that follows you around and attacks critters. Something REALLY awesome.

1. Buy/level up a bunch of clerics/empaths until you have a capped character in every realm. Have one train spirit lore whatever it is until you can locate cross realm.
2. Locate someone.
3. Fog to target with character in their realm.
C. Kill them.
4. Post logs here.
