Brawling DS Question

I currently am 1x shield 1x Brawl. Any idea how much DS I would lose in guarded, and in offensive stance were I to drop down to zero ranks? I sometimes use a 5x knuckle-blade for enhancive purposes but I don't rely on it at all for DS. I'm just looking for a rough estimate of the loss I would be taking.

I've been training up my wizard in brawling 10 ranks at a time.

In offensive the first 10 ranks gave +4DS total. Going from 10 to 20 gave me 3DS. I think the next 20 ranks gave 4DS.

Thanks. That helps give me an idea of what I would be facing. If I wanted to hold the weapon without a PENALTY would I want to keep atleast 1 rank?

Are you intending to drop to zero ranks in both brawling AND shield?

Assuming you are just canning brawling, hold an ET'less one-handed weapon you have 0 ranks in, in one hand. And have someone throw a couple punches your way to see what the DS difference will be.

Remember shield size (+ dodge ranks) factors into a bunch of crap as well.

I was considering dropping 1x brawl, but I would lose something like 75 DS in guarded and 100 in Defensive. I think I am going to hold onto the ranks.
