At best I find your 'evidence' inconclusive.

What part of that specific video leads you to proclaim that Glenn Beck is a tool?

*Going out to see a movie, so I look forward to your response when I return...

His face.

But seriously...

The right criticized John Stewert for his choked up commentary the week after 9-11. It was some FOX News fool who is forgotten now. But here comes Glenn Beck, weeping over 9-11 eight YEARS afterwards, and using it as a clarion call for what exactly?

One thing I agree with him on... he IS becoming televangelistic.

Did you actually watch the clip to come up with that synopsis? If you did, you linked the wrong clip.

I watched it multiple times shed no tears and actually let out an embarrassed laugh. Did you tune in to that original broadcast?

No, but I think I TiVod it. I've been busy, so haven't had a chance to watch it. I don't really get into this type of theater though.. the crying, the audience, the bullshit..

I like Glenn. He's a bit too emotional and religious for my tastes, but his views of government pretty much mirror my own.

Doesn't make him a tool though... but I can understand how you would think it does. I think people like Chris Matthews and Keith Olbermann are complete tools.

I just copied and pasted the original title of the vid from YouTube.

I did link it as “video evidence” so I suppose I am not without opinion about it.

Here is a link to the really shameful marketing that is The 9.12 Project (http://www.the912project.com/). 9 principals (they lost me at number 2) and 12 values of which Glenn Beck appears to be the Moses of.

FOX news. Now in the evangelical business model.

There's nothing shamless about using 9/12 in this project (your link is broken or it's offline). That is Beck's point.. that the feeling and how we were united on 9/12/01 should be how we always are and that the petty squabbles of how we are today is counterproductive to both sides.

I'd like to officially like to welcome the old Backlash back.

You don't get a feeling going up your leg when you see Chris Matthews or hear him speak?

Communist.
