So I made it to level 4, but I'm not sure if I'll have enough training points to continue with this kind of path. Especially with climbing, swimming, perception, survival, and first aid. Is it okay to miss training in some of these occasionally.
What should I change? I'm intending to go sword/board because of a shield I have that would go along nicely with the character. Should I be 2x in combat maneuvers? How often can I skip climbing/swimming, if ever? And his stats...that was automatically inputted when I created the character. What cmans should I be getting first?
Thanks for any advice!

i'm no warrior...but use an auto-roller for starters; sure to gain some more TPs. I doubt you need climbing and swimming that much until title or past.
First aid for skinning?
2x in dodge? I thought you didn't need to dodge that often in full plate (is that where you're headed?)

There hasn't been any use for an auto-roller in Gemstone in a looooong time, my friend.
And I think those stats look a little skewed with not much growth potential. I'd run them until your 30 days of quick migrating and stat changing is near, then switch to something more suited to growing with the character.
...and I'd reconsider the half-krolvin thing.
Half-krol ftw. Go for it.

Okay. You're probably going to have to reduce a fair amount of stuff. Climbing, swimming, perception as needed to get into places only (or if you really want to kill thieves).
The basics as a warrior are 2x in a weapon type, 2x CM, 2x Armor, 2x PF, and 2x Dodge or 2x Shield 1x dodge...don't go below those as a beginner. The rest is up to you... people usually favor training in some degree of Ambush and some degree of Multi Opponent combat for more specialized attack forms (mstrike or targetted ambush to limbs).
Surviva/first aid training makes you money through skinning creatures... however if you go the multi opponent combat/mstrike route you are probably going to mangle your kills. Society benefits can render first aid moot... 1 makes you not bleed, another promotes regeneration and reduces the time required to eat herbs.

stat cruncher, auto-roller wtf ever, can you tell I've been playing for a while?

I sort of tuned out on your post when I saw you suggested autoroller use and "not dodging in full plate," walkinthrurain.
I think half-krol are just fine, Peam, particularly if dude's gonna play in Icemule. Natural HCP against cold is kinda cool.

I'm sure most people feel that way, but I tried the 2h thing years ago, and I hated it. I kept dieing, and it wasn't fun. I'm sure things have changed since then, and I was likely hunting creatures that I shouldn't, but each time there was 2+ creatures, it was usually over for me. I really hated that. Stepping into an adjacent room didn't do much because the swarm would just follow, and ringing out was lame because I'd just have to walk all the way back, where they were usually just waiting for my return anyway.
Then I tried polearm after that. Same problem. Although using an ebladed naganita was awesome.
Then I tried duel-wielding katars by training in two weapon combat, edged, brawling and that was a blast. Until I quickly ran out of training points. It was fun to focus an mstrike wieldng 2 weapons though. Real fun. I doubt it would of been much viable later on though.
So thats why I'm back with sword/board. I know, 2h works fine for most warriors in the game. Also, I don't own any really nice 2h weapons either. But I do have a nice 10x shield ((though I'm not sure about the difference in them now, between small-large, ect)) and an 8x blessable longsword, so I'm set with this path.
What about cmans though? Which ones are good for a warrior starting out, using a shield? Dirtkick sounded nice, but I'm not sure how effective it is.

Two handed is much different considering the existence of dodge these days.
Multi opponent combat helps a lot with multiple creatures.
Polearms, in turn, have some very potent combat maneuvers attached.
Dual wielding katars is a tight training path but it is achievable.
Still... nice gear is nice gear.
Guild wise...you want to learn Tricks and Berserk. Many people like to learn the partner based things first... but in the days of declining populace finding a Warrior Guild partner is retardedly hard.
Berserk can be invoked while in a stun to shake a stun now and Feint is a very potent maneuver when combined with weapon specialization and some of the other bonus generating maneuvers (like weapon bonding).
I favored Surge, weapon specialization, weapon bonding, and Coup on my Warrior to get the maximum AS I could charge up.
I'd feint from Guild Tricks to generate delay on creatures and then open up with multi opponent combat.
Using a shield you'd likely want to look at shield charge or shield bash though. They're both quite useable. Shield mastery'd also be a defensive boost for you.
Oh....just fair warning... most offensive maneuvers require an offensive stance to be effective. With the brief delay on many of them that is relatively safe, however.

QFT. I don't want to have to save up/buy silvers just to purchase some ridiculous weapon. I already own 2 nice items for a training path. I had considered going Rogue/Ranger, but these days it seems that it's better to go archery ((which looks awesome, but I have NO idea how that system works)) with those types, so I was still screwed. I looked at Bards, even though I can't stand them, but it seemed many chose to go polearm. Paladin? More 2h's, and I'm not sure I liked the idea of a HK Paladin.
I just started out wanting to use sword/board, but it seems every profession has something else to better utilize with. So weird! Sword/board use to be standard for the most part, and now it's almost nonexistent.
Anyways, I'll look into those cmans, thanks for sharing. If there any good, I hope to utilize shield charge/bash/mastery. Do you really think it's a good idea to drop down to 1x dodge just because I'm using a shield?

Well...you may favor defense... but shield and dodge somewhat inhibit each other. 1x doesn't get messed with that badly plus confers some benefits with maneuvers that you need dodge to avoid without being too expensive.
What I listed were minimums though in my mind.
Paladins can do pretty well with shields too, I may add...they have related spells.

True, they do. I just never liked playing Paladins.

Uh..we're assholes because you're a moron? Stat crunchers and auto-rollers aren't even the same concept. Not to mention giving training advice on a profession you profess not to play is pretty moronic. Who's the asshole now?
(PS: Since you're clearly not very bright I'll give you a hint- it's you)

There is nothing wrong with half-krolvin. Especially a half-krolvin square.
