I cast 410 in town trying to produce no particular effect then hid, realizing the stupidity of "endangering public safety." But then this:
H>
A sudden fierce gust of wind howls through the area!
You are buffeted by the wind and knocked to the ground!
You are forced out of hiding.
P>
A number of halflings scurry in, led by the Halfling deputy.
With great ease, the Halfling deputy grabs you and shackles your wrists.
"I have you now! You best come along quietly, or you'll face the consequences," says the Halfling deputy.
The Halfling deputy then drags you off.
Arriving at the Jailhouse, the Halfling deputy cracks his knuckles, then gestures and utters a phrase of magic. Absentmindedly waving a hand at you, he magically strips you of your possessions, then shoves you over to a small, cramped cell. Unlocking and opening it, he swiftly pushes you in. "Enjoy your stay, varmint! If I had my way around here, ye'd be cleaning out the mule stables til the end of time!" he exclaims.
With a final snort, the Halfling deputy locks the cell door shut, leaving you to contemplate your fate.
In the distance you hear the Halfling deputy say, "There are clothes on the floor if you want them, but I expect them to be returned. You have two weeks time to clear out of here and collect your belongings. After two weeks I like to clean out the clutter in my office."
[Icemule Trace, Cell]
The low ceiling of this cell was obviously designed for the shorter races of Elanthia. The floor is covered with straw, and a distasteful scent lingers in the air. The only exit is a small steel door with a barred window in the center. You also see some patched red flannel pantaloons and a ragged red flannel shirt.
Obvious exits: none
The timing was really something there. Has anyone else ever seen that happen? Like in town?
